This is an example of the type of work that typically goes into a night shot.
The sky is actually real and was shot on the night, however with careful blending in Photoshop, the density gets changed and dropped in, the interiors get colour balanced and glass reflections removed, the next door neighbour's house gets darkened so it's not as overwhelming. As usual, pool cleaners get removed.
